From Soil to Supper
Regenerative farming is more than a production method. It is a commitment to leaving the soil healthier than we found it. Healthy soils support diverse grasses and plants. Healthy pastures nourish healthy sheep. Healthy sheep produce exceptional lamb. And exceptional lamb brings family and friends together around the table.
That is the cycle we work to protect every day.

Farmed by Petrus van Eeden.
Every box can be traced back to the farm, the flock and the people who raised it.
Verkykerskop Lamb reflects the work of Petrus van Eeden, a Free State farmer whose approach is grounded in long-term care for the pastures, the animal, and the quality of the final product.
His philosophy is simple: healthy soil produces healthy pasture. Healthy pasture produces healthy animals. Healthy animals produce exceptional lamb.
Through regenerative grazing practices, sheep are moved across grass pastures to encourage natural soil recovery, improve biodiversity and strengthen the resilience of the ecosystem. No pesticides or fungicides are used on the farm.
Nutrients are recycled naturally through grazing animals, helping to rebuild soil biology and create nutrient-dense pastures year after year. That nutrient density carries through into our meat.
The result is lamb raised the way it has been for generations — slowly, naturally and with respect for both the animal and the soil.
